The Southwest Actors Conference & Expo is the premier conference in the Southwest Region providing professional actors access to knowledge and training provided by top industry experts and practitioners. This experience will allow actors to make crucial connections and find new opportunities to grow their acting careers with the knowledge that can set them apart in a competitive industry. Conference attendees will have access to acting seminars taught by top coaches and casting directors, insights provided by top keynote speakers, an industry mixer, networking sessions, top expo vendors, and inspiration to grow their acting careers to new heights. The Southwest Actors Conference & Expo 2024 will be at the "DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Paradise Valley/Scottsdale" with is centrally located in the heart of Scottsdale, AZ. The address for the venue is - 5401 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85250

The conference brings together approximately 200 professional actors from all across the Southwest who are looking to grow their opportunities, learn from top teachers and follow their passion. Conference attendees must be 18+ years old. Speakers include top casting directors, managers, teachers, and other industry practitioners from across the Southwest.

We welcome all actors 18+ years old who are interested in learning and growing their acting careers.

The Southwest Actors Conference was designed with actors in mind! The #SWActorsConX speakers have been selected based on their ability to give actors the highest quality, most impactful, and actionable information. We expect our attendees to get actionable takeaways they can use to take their careers to the next level. We welcome all actors 18+ years old who are interested in learning and growing their acting careers. We recommend actors have some experience since our speakers will be giving remarks on more advanced and in-depth acting concepts. Please note there will be no "intro to the industry" or similar classes. Attendees do not need to have an agent/manager, nor a long resume to attend the conference. We designed this conference to bring together top speakers (e.g. casting directors, agents, managers, and more) from the Southwest to help our attendees maximize their acting careers in the Southwest. Attendees will have access to keynote speeches, seminars, and panels with these top speakers. We have also prioritized networking throughout the conference since we know that making connections is key to an actor's success. Attendees will have access to an industry mixer and networking sessions throughout the conference. We also understand that actors benefit from knowing the services and companies that can help them take their careers to the next level -- which is why we will have an Expo floor filled with vendors eager to help actors succeed.

YES! The Industry Mixer on August 23rd will be a great place to meet and network with other attendees and speakers, but is not required. If your schedule does not allow for your attendance at the Industry Mixer on August 23rd we understand and look forward to seeing you at the conference on August 24th, 2024. No discounted ticket will be provided if you are unable to attend any particular portion of the #SWActorsConX.
