The Southwest Actors Conference is actively accepting speaking proposals and panelist applications for the 2026 conference.
If you're an expert with an actor career lesson, hack, case study, or a bit of actor-jedi-wisdom to share, we want to hear from you! We're interested in intermediate and advanced-level talks from speakers who are passionate about helping actors grow. For panelists, we are looking for Talent Agents and Casting Directors located in the Southwest (CA, NV, AZ, NM, UT, CO, & TX).
We curate every speaker and panelist personally to make sure our attendees get the highest quality experience possible, so our selection process is intentional, not just first-come, first-served. We'd love to hear what you bring to the table.
The Southwest Actors Conference does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, or military service. All individuals are encouraged to apply.
Be Concise
Be concise but explain the importance of the topic and what detailed lesson you will teach. Write in the present tense and an active voice. Include 3-4 bullets of what someone will be able to do better or different because of your session.
hands on
learning
Your personal brand or story is less interesting than the awesome tips and interactive exercises you share
Tangible
takeaways
Attendees want to walk away with a plan of action. Be sure to include specific lessons you'll teach that aren't too generic or broad.
Limit the scope
In 30-60 minutes, you won't be able to cover everything about your topic. Instead, pick a specific useful aspect.
